I’m actually in the same boat — been meaning to peel away from the screen and connect with real people who live and breathe crypto too. I’m based in nevada, and while the local scene isn’t massive, I’ve found a couple of solid Telegram groups and Discords where folks organize low-key meetups.
Couple things you might want to check out:

ETHGlobal’s hackathon calendar — they’ve been doing some really good hybrid/remote events with solid dev turnout.

Gitcoin Events — great if you’re into open-source or public goods stuff. Some community-led gatherings pop up there.

Also: if you’re into zk, there’s been a surge of interest lately — a few friends joined in-person zk workshops in [insert location] recently, so you might want to look around for local chapters.
