Hey devs 👋
Just wanted to start a chill thread for anyone working on crypto/web3 projects to share what they’re building, struggling with, or experimenting on lately.
I’ve been knee-deep in smart contract development using Foundry lately — way faster than I expected, but debugging reverts still gives me headaches 😩. Also playing around with some zk-STARK tools for fun (and pain lol).
Curious — what frameworks/tools are you loving right now? Anyone doing interesting stuff with L2s, cross-chain infra, or wallets?
Also open to hearing about stuff that broke or didn’t go as planned — always something to learn there.
Let’s share ideas, tips, rants, and maybe even some alpha.
Looking forward to seeing what the builders are cooking 🔧🚀
Yo, love this vibe — always down for a good dev brain dump thread 🔧🧠
I’ve been deep in wallet UX stuff lately. Trying to streamline onboarding for normies without sacrificing too much on self-custody… not an easy balance. Smart account abstractions (ERC-4337) are super promising, but the tooling still feels early. Gotta say, StackUp and Alchemy’s AA SDK have been helpful though.
Also experimenting with cross-chain messaging — stuck between using LayerZero vs Axelar, and honestly both have quirks. Cross-chain testing is a nightmare lol 😅
Respect on the Foundry grind — it’s ridiculously fast, but yeah… vm.expectRevert()
is either your best friend or your worst enemy depending on the day 😂
And re: zk stuff — hats off. I keep wanting to dive into STARK tooling but haven’t had time to get past baby steps with Cairo. Maybe soon…
Appreciate the thread — feels good to talk shop outside of tickets and deadlines. Anyone else building wallet infra or messing with L2 onboarding flows, hmu 👇
