Hey builders 👋

Thought I’d open up a casual thread to talk about the real stuff — the pain points, surprises, and little wins we’ve had while building in crypto lately.

I’ve personally been deep in smart contract development across EVM chains, and even though the tooling has come a long way (shoutout Foundry + Viem), things still get weird fast when you start layering in:

  • Multichain deployments (RPC inconsistencies are real 😩)

  • Wallet UX — still a major barrier for normies

  • Cross-chain messaging protocols — cool on paper, but implementation feels fragile

  • Gas optimizations — especially with opcodes changing on newer L2s

Also been experimenting with some Account Abstraction flows (ERC-4337), and while promising, the onboarding still isn’t as smooth as it needs to be for mainstream.

So I’m curious:

  • What stack are you using these days (frontend + contracts + infra)?

  • Any dev tools or libraries you’ve recently discovered that actually made your life easier?

  • Biggest pain point or weirdest bug you’ve run into while building?

Feel free to share code snippets, setups, rants, or even half-baked ideas. Let’s make this a space where we help each other build smarter and faster — not just hype the tech.

Looking forward to the convo 👇
