Hey folks 👋

Been thinking a lot lately about what Bitcoin actually represents these days — and whether it's still living up to what it was meant to be.

At first, it was this decentralized, peer-to-peer alternative to traditional finance. A way to opt out of broken systems. But now, with big institutions buying in, ETFs being approved, and more regulation on the way… has it changed? Or is this just part of the evolution?

I’m not asking this to start a debate — I’m genuinely curious how the community feels.
Is Bitcoin still a tool for freedom?
Or has it become more of a store of value — like digital gold — and that’s totally okay?

Also, for those who’ve been around a while: what originally pulled you into Bitcoin, and what keeps you here now?
